I keep reading the posts and polls talking about the enjoyment people are, or aren’t getting from Clan Capital. Most people who say they enjoy it only really mention that they like the rewards. (And I admit, the rewards are pretty darn good. We are up to 900ish medals per weekend which adds up quick.)
That being said I find Clan Capital incredibly boring, as do 35 of the other 37 in my clan who participate. No one talks about it. No one cares. They simply do their attacks as fast as possible and that’s it. The attacks are pretty much the same (sneaky archers and rage, or 5 lightning, then clean up with ground or balloons), the base designs really don’t matter if you are a half decent attacker, and it is just a very “meh” grind overall for almost everyone I talk with.
So, like I used to ask people with the builder base if they’d play it if OTTO wasn’t on offer… Would you still play and enjoy Clan Capital if there were zero rewards? If so, why?
(*** I know it is very early days for Clan Capital. But Builder Base had a VERY similar vibe and attitude around it with much of the player base on social media in early days, and it never gained popularity. It is and was mostly a chore for people to get OTTO or CG points.)
