So... how exactly did this update push us closer to "incentivizing" hero upgrades, as mentioned in the Judo/Darian interview?
Any TH16 player, regardless of "status" can get max offense on a dime. We worked out that one can have max offense for every CWL day if they stock up on Hero/Power potions throughout the month with the Raid Medals they get. So what's the point of upgrading heroes?
Additionally, every multiple of 5 levels now increases Health Recovery by a little bit. That's fine and dandy, but with Hero ability levels being tied to Hero Equipment (which I THINK is limited by Town Hall level, not Hero level, not Blacksmith level), you don't get that "oomph" from reaching a multiple of 5. So what's the point of upgrading Heroes?
ADDITIONALLY, TH16 offense is so ridiculously overtuned (in a "fun" way, mind you) that three stars are apparently possible left and right. My defenses don't really matter, I'll get 3 starred anyway.
Not trying to whine/complain, I love the update. I just think it disincentivized progression in general, except for rushing straight to TH16.
