Entire clan has gone dead because of outrageous upgrade times. What do you guys think?

I mean upgrading one item taking 18 days is overkill. Walls are ridiculously expensive. Troop algorithms are changed constantly. You upgrade one to use them it's changed.

My once very active high level clan have all abandoned the game. Is this the future of the game because am also one step away from walking...
