So, I'm a close to max th12 who will soon upgrade to th13 and I was wondering what the best way to spend CWL medals is these days (I took a long break from the game).
In the past, what I'd do is that I'd spend all my medals in the laboratory because the lab always takes longer than the buildings to max out. I'd use my medals till I achieved the same time in the laboratory that I have for my buildings. And then I'd save all medals for the next townhall.
But with the introduction of raid medals and being able to buy 3 research pots from the trader each week (effectively reducing lab time by around 40%). I was wondering what the new best way to spend CWL medals is.
I never used them on buildings because even on the buildings which take the longest, you're actually only saving very little time. For example, if a building takes 12 days to finish then you're actually only saving 2 days of effective builder time (assuming you have 6 builders).
And heroes were always a no-go because the time you save is even lesser. But now I'm wondering if it's actually worth it to spend them on heroes just to max then out as soon as possible.
