What is the absolute minimum Level for Storages at every Town Hall Level. Experiment.

So, since I made an account with Level 1 Storages, I always wonder, what are the absolute lowest Storage Levels that a player can have through normal gameplay? I decided to create a new account and put that to the test. It is still in the works, because I have only completed a few Town Hall Levels, but more are to come eventually.

Rules of the account:

• Must have the lowest Storage Levels.
• Hammers are banned.
• Overflowing through Season Bank is banned.

I will split it into multiple sections which are per Town Hall.

Town Hall 1 -> Town Hall 2

Only one Storage is available here for both resources. And since you are moving through this during the tutorial, you will upgrade to Town Hall 2 anyway, so nothing to discuss here.

Town Hall 2 -> Town Hall 3

No new Storages are built here, you stay with 1 Gold Storage and 1 Elixir Storage.

Here, it is possible to go to Town Hall 3 without upgrading your Storages at all. You can keep both of them at Level 1 and still be able to move to Town Hall 3. This will save you some time if you want to hyper-rush your base.

Town Hall 3 -> Town Hall 4

A second Storage is available to build for both resources.

This is where you will start requiring to upgrade your Storages. For Gold, there are two ways to get the fewest Gold Storage upgrades. Either you can do a 4/2 set or a 5/1 set. However, I insist on the 5/1 set, as it is superior. You will see why later.

As for Elixir, surprisingly they are not needed to be upgraded at all. Keep both of them at Level 1.

Town Hall 4 -> Town Hall 5

To achieve the lowest Storage capacity while also being able to move to Town Hall 5, you need a 7/1 set. This is the reason why I insisted on the 5/1 set in the Town Hall 3 section. Because if you had gone with a 4/2 set, you would end up with a 7/2 set, which is not the lowest Storage capacity, and a 6/6 set does not give enough Storage space to move to Town Hall 5.

We have made it to Town Hall and Elixir Storages are still not necessary to be upgraded. They can stay at Level 1

Town Hall 5 -> Town Hall 6

This is where I have stopped for the time being. I will continue this as I do more research.

To move to Town Hall 6, you will need a 9/8 set. Since Level 9 is the highest Gold Storage Level at Town Hall 5, you will need to maximize it. The second one does not need to be maximized though, Level 8 is still enough.

This is where Elixir Storages will need to be upgraded, in order to rebuild the Spell Factory. I have not figured out what is the absolute lowest, but so far, the possible sets are 5/5, 6/3, and 7/1. 5/5 gets the lowest, but I would like to check the other ones as well in the future, in case later Town Halls resolve in lower Storage Levels.
