I thought about all of these recent events, and for troops like the titan.
I think it would be cool if there were a way to create a donation vault. Everyone can contribute, and no active requests have to exist. So everyone can contribute up to 9 troops still, and same number of spells, siege machines etc. then when you need troops you can go and pull from the vault. It doesn’t require someone to be on for your request. Clan can set what it wants most often, loons, giants, yetis, or whatever event is ongoing. Then clan members can claim them from the vault.
Higher level clans can hold more in their vault. Players who just joined have a brief lockout period, 10-30 minutes, to where they can’t remove from the vault. Or an existing co or leader has to verify a member to access the vault.
Troops still get same donation boost, and same max level capped by town hall. Donations and received could be tracked the same.
I think it would make events a lot easier to obtain. I would still use gems a majority of the time to stock it up. Eliminates some wait time potentially. If you donated, and then removed, you could circumvent the reinforcement using raid medals which probably wouldn’t be favorable from SC standpoint.
Makes donations feel a little more like a group effort. Maybe have a collective castle/vault somewhere that everyone shares and can update together. Maybe raid medals are the only way to upgrade it?
Just a random thought. I imagine there is some huge negative I haven’t considered. Don’t remember seeing the idea floating around anywhere else.
