I’m a causal player who’s just maxed TH11. If I wanted to rush to TH15 to experience things like RC and pets, what downsides would there be?

If I keep maxing out Town Halls, I’m never going to experience end game content and think that’s pretty lame. Could I not play the game as a maxed TH11, with the offense of a TH15? I’m personally not seeing why that doesn’t work, but am also dumb. Thank you for any answers!
